HOW DOES HALO WORK?

The Halo by Sciton is the world’s first ablative and non-ablative fractional laser. By working two wavelengths, patients receive maximum results with less downtime.

Your Halo treatment will deliver non-ablative wavelengths at 1470nm simultaneously with ablative wavelengths at 2940nm. Your treatment can be delivered to your face, neck, hands, arms, chest, or legs.

The non-ablative wavelength will treat both the epidermis and papillary dermis layers. It will correct enlarged pores, spider veins, loose skin, age spots, pigmentation, and wrinkles. At the same time, the ablative wavelength will remove the epidermal layer causing your body to jump start its natural healing process. This will result in collagen production which will retract and tighten your skin.

The result? A Halo Glow!

WHAT SKIN CONDITIONS WILL HALO TREAT?

The Halo is a skin resurfacing procedure that is safe for all skin types. It will help reduce and improve any

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM YOUR TREATMENT?

When you arrive for your treatment, you will receive topical numbing to make the procedure more comfortable. Following your treatment, we will apply Oxygenetix Healing Foundation to the treated area to protect your skin and aid the healing process. We suggest that you sleep in the foundation overnight and use a gentle cleanser the following morning. After 24 hours you are free to apply makeup if you choose.

The treatment involves much faster healing time than a traditional profractional laser treatment. Depending on the depth of your treatment (which is tailored to every patient) you can expect to be swollen for the next several days. Patients experiencing the most robust treatment can expect to be swollen up to a week. You will begin to see noticeable results within a few weeks’ time.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

The Halo laser treatment will give you results after one to two treatments. For comparison, a non-hybrid laser would show similar results after 5 or 6 treatments.
