For the face we use Allergan’s JUVEDERM line of fillers. Hyaluronic acid, or HA, is a natural substance in the body that delivers volume to the skin. Modified HA is the main ingredient behind the JUVÉDERM® line of fillers.. Getting treated with JUVÉDERM® helps add volume to different areas of the face without surgery while also temporarily restoring the volume loss beneath the surface.

For hands we use JUVEDERM Voluma or Radiesse. Voluma is modified HA, and Radiesse is comprised of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier.1 RADIESSE immediately replenishes lost volume and stimulates the production of your own natural collagen.

Depending on the filler used and the area injected, your filler will last from up to a year to 2 years.
The most common side effects included temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching. Side effects were moderate (uncomfortable), and generally lasted 2 to 4 weeks. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.

Do not use these products if you have a history of multiple severe allergies or severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), You should not use fillers if you have an allergy to any component of the product, if you have a history of severe allergies, if you have a bleeding disorder, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the Gram-positive bacterial proteins used in these products.
